The Endeavor lands on a world already settled by a group of VORUTIAN refugees. After winning the ritual trial by combat, the crew is allowed to enter the ancient ruins left by the Creator race, and reprogram the terraforming vault tech to support the flourishing population, establishing a new home for the vorut.
The Dauntless crew find themselves between a rock and a hard place. A research facility has drafted too close to an asteroid belt, and its up to the crew to save not just the researchers but the potentially life-saving research as well.

the marlowe is launching and their benefactor has them attend some fancy events at the terminus opera house — but it's there that they discover a mystery to solve! tracking some missing people leads the crew to an alien mimic and a phantom competing against them for his prize.
With Ambrose Goodhope and Dr. Yoko Honda as speakers at the Penglai Symposium annual conference, the crew of the Dauntless join them at SP'AVOS – and just in time to stop a hostage situation that quickly goes off the rails and threatens the entire town with destruction.
while the wayfarer makes some routine deliveries on babylon, they find themselves the victim of a frame job! they take matters into their own hands to solve the crime, and manage to stop the thieves before they can flee for good, and clear their names in the process.
it's the marlowe's first official mission off station and it takes them to the mahoroban country town of hexam which has been plagued with violent cows and other farm animals. the crew explores and discovers the culprit to be a crashed planet x alien queen. some angry cows and mind-controlled farmers later, the crew save the town and return everything to normal!
the sparrowhawk and endeavor end up on the same planet but for very different reasons. the sparrowhawk crew hunts down the lost city of gold so they can walk away with a treasure haul never before seen, but end up crash landing in the still very populated city of cuzo, and are assumed to be their legendary gods. the endeavor crew journeys to the same city in an effort to find their active vault, and pass various trials before gaining entry. as usual, things go poorly when the local high priest decides to disprove any nonbelievers by meddling with the vault, and both crews must work together to put a stop to the growing chaos!
it's another week of fun and festivities as the station celebrates the vernal season!
the wayfarer flies to the edge of penglai to make a standard delivery, but get more than they bargained for when the locals forcibly enlist them to tame an ancient beast beneath the asteroid's surface!
the sparrowhawk and revenge crews work together to spring some high value glf members from prison - including the father of their own gunner, devi bakshi. the elaborate scheme gets their targets out, but leads to the accidental escape of a few other prisoners, as well. oops!
returning to naxaron, the endeavor must save the watery planet from becoming a watery grave by diverting an incoming asteroid. they manage to knock the big rock off its course, but in the process, must escape a sinister clutch of alien x that have hitched a ride on the asteroid.
there have been strange sightings in a lowtown ghost tour on terminus station, so the marlowe crew go to do what they do best: investigate! they don't find a ghost, but they do find themselves stuck in the middle of a gang war and a man who needs their help reaching witness protection.
on the cusp of the 10 year anniversary since the expansion war, a murder case ignites conflict between those holding old grudges and allegiances to the adf and glf. the ongoing escalation of tension results in mass chaos and a full on riot in the streets of terminus.
the wayfarer's owner, mr. fincher, sends the crew on some errands to collect credits for him, eventually admitting why he needs them so badly: his beloved brother has been kidnapped, and he needs to pay the ransom! meanwhile, the dauntless responds to a distress call coming from one of their own facilities on a nearby moon, which turns out to be a trap - but for the other crew. it's up to all of them to save the hostages, can they vaddo it?
the endeavor attempts to retrieve a downed probe before the advanced tech falls into the hands of the more primitive locals, but find out they're too late! a human from penglai has already settled on the planet, and must be deposed as the self-appointed godking of the native civilization.
the sparrowhawk and the marlowe crews are dragged into a complicated situation with an old nemesis hellbent on committing terrifying crimes and exacting vengeance. in the sewers, both crews have to rescue some of their own, and escape the clutches of the oily man.
happy anniversary, terminus! this year, residents celebrate another spin around penglai with an acorn-themed festival, representing terminus' strong community roots, while branching out to newcomers and tourists from around the galaxy.
cosmic omnipotent being x'ppur is at it again! in the blink of an eye, station residents find themselves transformed into younger or older selves for a week, and learn to make the best (or worst) of their circumstances.
the wayfarer makes its last delivery run of the year to bring some festive cheer back from mahoroba to the station, just in time for the holidays!
